Welcome to the Party
Long Live the Woo #Brooklyn. I’ve been failing at my “something is better than nothing,” “it aint gotta be perfect, its just gotta be done” self affirmations. This morning I watched a YT video from Evelyn from the Internets pretty much outlining why it’s time for me to do what I set out to accomplish, or stop. Vida con la Rona is kicking my ass. Some days I’m inspired and ready to take up space in this brand new world. Every other day, I’m uninspired, and tired of washing dishes, and tired of watching mofos live out their artistic interpretations of “social distancing”, and tired of googling “how to lose 40lbs in 6 months/3 months/next week.” But, I promised y’all a podcast. I promised to share salacious fashion stories, and beauty tips and tricks, and to share my resources with you, should you set out to be the future of the business of fashion. So today, I’m leaning into the upside of a slippery slope. I’m having a hard time keeping promises to myself. It’s easier for me to keep promises to my friends. So let it be written, so let it be done.
